Cannonball Run -The Funniest Car Movie

I can’t say much about the sequels, after all Momma always said “If you can’t say something nice…shut the blip up” but the original Cannonball Run was a laugh riot filled with hot cars racing across the Country.

Burt Reynolds starred and was joined by just about every B list and has been Star of the 1970′s. Zaniness ensued both on screen and off and it was obvious that the Stars spent most of the film trying to one up each other.

Herbie, The Love Bug

Herbie would definitely have been one of the “Geeks” in High School. He’s not “cool” looking but he has the brains and the heart to be a winner.

Not sure how well he would do against Gone in Sixty Seconds, Evelynn or the Knight Rider’s KITT, but he has been known to make me laugh.

With that being said, here is my tribute to one of the top movie cars….. Herbie, the Love Bug

Iron Man vs Audi R8

Big Fan here…. very big fan of Iron Man… Awesome Movie with awesome cars. However, it seems the Audi R8 was a little too awesome.

According to Iron Man director, Jon Favreau the mighty Audi R8 thwarted the original ending to the movie. The tough little car refused to flip and was too tough for their cables. The poor special effects team was left frustrated and the scene was later rewritten.
