I look for the impossible, like running cars with no tires (after the tires exploded caused by gun shots), or the impossible driving, (like feet on the steering wheel, while pulling the trigger).. Those are the usual car chase scenes that amaze me..

One of my all time favorite movies. The car chase scenes were well done and believable. Don’t forget about the background music which was absolutely perfect for this movie. One scene near the end confused me though. It was where the two men in a Buick were putting out a spike strip on the road to stop Robert Mitchum’s character and they poured some liquid over them. Were those two men the bad guys or Feds? And why the liquid? To create glare maybe?
