These films are really the first mainstream movies to feature the rage for Asian imports in North America. Beginning with the original movie in 2001, a total of four films have been released, the latest one being “Fast & Furious” released in April 2009. A wide range of fast cars are featured throughout all the movies, covering domestic and imports, both newer and older. Some of the more notable fast cars are listed below.

1970 Dodge Charger R/T – Driven by Dom, this vehicle was wrecked in the first movie and resurrected in the fourth.

1970 Chevelle SS – Another one of many fast cars driven by Dom.

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse – This neon green car was driven by Brian O’Conner

1995 Honda Civic Coupe – This car is seen driven by Dom, Leon, and Letty. The body suffers “irreparable” damage after being side-swiped by a semi-trailer.

Honda S2000 – Driven by the antagonist, Johnny Tran.

1993 Mazda RX7 – This car is seen stashed away in a parking garage and being driven by Dom.

1999 Nissan Maxima – Vince is driving this car in the beginning of the movie. It is last seen leaving Race Wars.

1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R R33 – This yellow beauty has light scene usage and is driven by Leon.

1995 Toyota Supra – This is Brian’s second car and later becomes Dom’s. Brian hands Dom the car keys after Dom crashes his Dodge Charger R/T. In the movie Jesse referred to spending $10,000-$15,000 on this car. In reality there was over $150,000 dollars invested in the Supra.

1995 Volkswagen Jetta GLX – This car is driven by Jesse and is shot at by Johnny Tran in a drive-by. Later, Brian kills Johnny for killing Jesse in this drive-by.

1994 Acura Integra – Driven by Dom’s little sister, Mia, who is also the romantic interest of Brian. This car can be seen leaving the “Cha Cha Cha” restaurant when Mia speeds off and makes a wide u-turn.

1999 Ferrari F355 – This car really makes a “cameo” appear. Driven by the movie’s producer, Neal H. Moritz, the Ferrari races the Supra and loses.

1994 Acura Integra – Driven by Edwin, this car is only seen when Edwin races Toretto, Brian, and the un-named Asian driver in the first race.
